We are currently hiring an Inside Sales Representative for our Unionville, CT location.
The sales representative will be responsible for ensuring a smooth sales process by developing new leads, communicating with customers, and embracing the extraordinary to meet customer needs and goals of the company. You should be able to close sales and meet targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide superior quality customer service to include: establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with customers; treating customers in a professional and courteous manner; and providing the customer with high quality products and service.
- Promote and sell company products and supplies through visiting and contacting prospects using established company sales techniques.
- Provide customers with product price quotations, details regarding all products available as well as warranty procedures.
- Learn about and relate new product ideas and product extensions to customers.
- Attend all sales meetings, other job-related job site meetings and training seminars as directed.
- Solicit existing personal and business clients to sell products and services.
- Initiate cold calls and visits to develop new customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working as sales representative, associate, retail, etc.
- Knowledge of building materials and construction.
- Knowledge of computers, applicable software, and on-line sales support systems.
- A friendly personality
- A strong customer service orientation is preferred.
- Having knowledge in the building materials industry is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
