Department Details
Key Responsibilities:
System Integration & Automation: Develop, configure, and maintain integrations across different systems, platforms, and applications. Work on automation to streamline business processes and ensure seamless data flow between applications.
Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with System Administrators, Application Analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure system integrations meet business needs and performance expectations.
System Health & Compliance: Monitor system health, usage metrics, and compliance across production, test, and development environments. Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
Configuration Management: Manage and configure application usage, ensuring that integration points are functional and optimized. Maintain data integrity and ensure system software is up-to-date with the latest release levels.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with application vendors for configuration support, enhancement requests, and handling support escalations.
Workflow & Task Management: Build requested items, tasks, and workflows to manage business processes, ensuring integration points are properly designed and executed.
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain process documentation for internal teams. Provide training to team members to ensure consistency in understanding and handling system integrations and workflows.
On-Call Support: Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation to ensure the availability and reliability of integrated systems. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.
Will provide access to formal vendor training on software when applicable. Previous ERP Administration and/or System Integration experience is preferred.
Job Summary
The Application Administrator is responsible for day-to-day administration and support of assigned applications including scripting, configuration, integrations and administration. Works with leadership to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of the department. Works closely with other departments, System Administrators, and Application Analysts. Monitors system health, usage, compliance, administration and maintenance of production, test and development application platforms. Configures and manages application usage, data integrity and system software release levels while working with application vendors for configuration, enhancement requests and support escalations. Builds requested items and tasks using workflows and other tools to manage processes. Develops systems integrations and process automation. Creates process documentation for team and provides internal training to team members. Generates reports and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis as needed. Provides 24x7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field required.
Three years of experience in systems administration. Project management experience preferred. Operations experience supporting applications deployed in a multi-server environment and fluency in networking principals and implementations. Experience with on premise and/or cloud-based Systems Administration preferred. Proven fault identification and analysis skills, critical thinking, ability to troubleshoot technologies. Software development experience strongly encouraged.
When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification preferred.
