Pay Info: Pay starts at $22.50 and increases according to years of applicable experience.
Job Summary
The Associate Network Engineer provides installation, maintenance and support for Sanford Health's local area and wide area network infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, high performance data, video, and voice communications. Experience in basic switching, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and physical cabling standards/practices required. Experience with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies a plus. Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and network hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting required.
This position will involve working in a ticket-driven environment with several unique enterprise platforms you'll get to work on. Experience in Cisco platforms is a plus, but we are willing to train so long as basic education requirements are met within IT networking. Some of the technologies will be Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, ACI, Gigamon, and SolarWinds.
On call rotation would be part of this position's expectations and a valid drivers license.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree in a networking, computer science, information systems, or related technology field. Two years of equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.
When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
