Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating assigned projects from start to finish with involvement from other members of the Information Technology (IT) Department, with particular emphasis to Technology Systems. The Technology Systems Coordinator implements new software, hardware, and supports existing systems. Ensures project fulfillment by reviewing the status of projects with management and various departments, and with outside contractors. Understands a systems approach to problem solving and process improvement involving staff. Demonstrates proven project development and management skills. Possesses a fundamental working knowledge of the operating systems and software currently used in the department. Ability to work with multiple departments and facilities in providing necessary support and installation of hardware and software standards. Must have a good understanding and working knowledge of the various components within IT to be able to assist the Networking, Server, and Telecom teams remotely. Position requires on-site support in multiple clinical and non-clinical departments and facilities including patient rooms, emergency department, and other patient care areas
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, in lieu of education, leadership may consider 5 years of applicable experience in customer service and technology or an Associate’s degree in a computer related field and 3 years’ experience in customer service and technology.
2 years’ experience in technical support or customer service preferred.Valid Driver’s License required. Must maintain a good driving record.
