Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities through regular maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct residential painting and fabrication tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic quality.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects efficiently.

Skills

• Proficiency in facilities maintenance with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience in welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.
• Strong command of the English language for effective communication.
• Competence in residential painting techniques to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient maintenance management.
• Knowledge of using an ohmmeter for electrical testing and repairs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

• 4 hour shift
