Certification Details BLS ARRT NDMIRT Job Details General job duties include providing high quality images through the operation of specialized equipment. Types of procedures required include vascular angiograms, biopsies, drainages, tube placements, injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, thrombectomy, embolizations, endovascular procedures, central lines, and dialysis catheters. Works to minimize the risk and duration of recovery to patients, initiating life support measures as necessary. Adheres to the Safety and Infection Control Policies established by Sanford Health. Possesses extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and medical terminology. Ability to work a flexible schedule and take after hour call when needed. Job Requirements Trained in an Interventional Radiology Setting with a minimum of 1 year experience as an IR tech. Required skills include knowledge of billing and coding of procedures and the ability to adapt and facilitate change. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required include BLS, ARRT, and NDMIRT. Schedule Information Call is required for IR, with the team consisting of 1 provider, 1 nurse, 1 Scrub Rad Tech, and 1 Circulator. Shifts are either 10 hours or 8 hours, starting from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with call shifts from 5 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM. Every 3-4th weekend (Friday 5 : 30 PM to Monday 7 : 00 AM) and up to 3 call shifts during the week. Unit Specific Information Floating to over units / departments is required.
