Job Details
General job duties include management of 1-3 critically ill patients across various populations including neuro, cardiac, CT surgery, trauma, medical, and surgical patients.
Ability to manage vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropics, antiarrhythmics, and other titratable drips.
Assistance with bedside procedures including RSI, EVD placement, Tracheostomy, line placement, and other diagnostic tests.
Job Requirements
2 years of experience in a large hospital (over 200 beds), level 1 trauma.
Ability to care for critically ill patients independently.
ND or compact state RN License.
Schedule Information
Travelers in this role will call in each day prior to their shift to find out where they will be working.
Day / Night Rotate-8 and 12 hour shifts, occasional 4 hour shifts.
Every other Weekend and Holiday, no call required.
Unit Specific Information
Total of 32 hours of orientation including hospital and unit-specific training.
Additional Details
Candidate must disclose any required time-off during the assignment.
Experience titrating vasopressor drips is required.
