They collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate and implement patient care while demonstrating full nursing competency. Job Details
General job duties for MS patients and Surgical Oncology patients.
Collaborates with inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise.
Job Requirements
1 year med / surg experience required.
Surgical oncology experience preferred.
BLS - must be AHA certified.
ND or compact state RN license required.
Schedule Information
12 hr shifts, D / N, EOW, EOH.
Floating to over units / departments is required.
Unit Specific Information
1 day lead center training required.
2-12 hr shifts on the unit with a preceptor.
Additional Details
Candidate may require time off during the assignment.
Disclosure of any criminal convictions other than minor traffic violations is required.
Minimum 1 year recent Medical Surgical experience required.
Experience with surgical oncology patients preferred but not required.
Active ND or Compact RN License is required.
EPIC experience is preferred.
Experience working in a larger hospital (200 beds min), level 2 or higher trauma center is preferred.
