General job duties.
Types of procedures required : Scrub for Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgical cases including Coronary Artery Bypass Graft with Cardio pulmonary bypass, Mitral Valve Repair / Replacement, Aortic Valve Repair / Replacement, Open Ascending Aortic Repair, Thoracotomy for Lung procedures, and Thoracoscopy for Lung procedures.
Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) We will train as needed.
Job Requirements
3 years cardiovascular surgical tech experience preferred.
Certified tech preferred but not mandatory based on experience.
Schedule Information
May need to float to Main ORs if case volume fluctuates.
Unit Specific Information
Team specific orientation is based on individual need. 2 advanced techs will assist with training.

AHA BLS Certification (required)
Experience with Coronary Artery Bypass Graft with Cardio pulmonary bypass
Experience with Mitral Valve Repair / Replacement
Experience with Aortic Valve Repair / Replacement
Experience with Open Ascending Aortic Repair
Experience with Thoracotomy for Lung procedures-Lobectomy, Pneumonectomy
