Job Details
Will work in an infertility clinic.
Responsible for performing ultrasounds in a professional and diagnostic manner.
Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.
Thoroughly understand the operation of the ultrasound machine and utilize new technologies.
Performs a variety of ultrasound examinations.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 4 years working experience in OB / GYN.
High risk obstetrical experience of 2 years desirable but not required.
Experience in multiples and detecting birth defects.
Knowledge in performing Detailed or Targeted anatomical surveys which includes evaluating fetal hearts per AIUM’s detailed protocol.
Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging, Allied Health Certificate / Diploma or a minimum of one year equivalent work experience is preferred.
Registration in at least one of the following areas of sonography is required : Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or registry eligible.
Schedule Information
5 8 hour day.
7 : 30-4 : 00 p.m. Mon-Fri.
No weekends, no call.
Unit Specific Information
Tech will orientate for 2 weeks (more if needed) while under direct supervision / mentorship of preceptor.
Will learn protocols, workflows, obtain EMR training in EPIC, and structure reporting training in AS OB / GYN software.
