POSITION SUMMARY

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Current Maine CHRC (Active fingerprints with Dept. of Education or ability to obtain)
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
- Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment physical
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean assigned areas of the school, including classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and common areas
- Vacuum and clean floors
- Remove trash
- Maintain outside areas of the school during winter months as needed
- Work cooperatively with the head custodian and coworkers
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Required to have prompt, regular attendance for scheduled hours
- Must be able to work on your feet for several hours a day and lift up to 50lbs as needed

Hearing: Ability to tolerate exposure to noisy conditions.

Other Requirements: Ability to understand and follow verbal or basic written instructions. Ability to learn and apply safety procedures and standards.
