RN/LPN
Location: Western Wake Treatment Center
Shift : Monday through Friday: 5:30am to 1:30pm
The Mission of Western Wake Treatment Center is to provide individualized counseling, education and medication-assisted recovery to opioid-dependent adults in a safe, medically sound, and therapeutic environment.
Western Wake Treatment Center has an opening for a part-time RN or LPN with a current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license to provide competent, safe, quality, professional care.
Summary of duties and responsibilities:

Summary of duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for quality nursing care to patient population.
- Gather pertinent patient information and report to Medical Director.
- Administration of methadone and buprenorphine in accordance with medical director’s orders.
- Assist the medical director in performing physicals.
- Collect and document medical history on new patients and annually on existing patients.
- Administer TB testing, breathalyzers, and observe & collect urine drug screens.
- Be able to take accurate blood pressure and pulse rate measurements.
- Participates in staff meetings and treatment team meetings providing feedback to staff, and medical director.
- Provide information to clinical director regarding dosage history and attendance.
- Utilize knowledge of chemical dependency, detoxification, and withdrawal symptoms during educational sessions.
- Maintain current, accurate medical documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- RN or LPN with a desire to work in the field of addiction medicine.
- Holds a current, unrestricted North Carolina RN or LPN license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to successfully work independently, as well as with a team.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality as outlined by Federal Law protecting substance abuse patients.
- Successfully provide compassionate patient care in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00/ hour
Salary : $23 - $26
