Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care, including prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring timely and efficient communication with healthcare providers.
- Promote patient education and empowerment, addressing questions and concerns in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to ongoing process improvements and best practices.
Requirements
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- NRP certification required.
- MN state license required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
Work Environment
This role requires working primarily in the Women's Center department, with occasional float assignments to the General Medical unit as needed. You will have access to modern equipment and technology, including EPIC computer charting and OBIX with central monitoring.
