We’re looking for a Bioinformatics Pipeline Engineer with strong software engineering experience to design, develop, and optimize high-performance bioinformatics workflows. You’ll work closely with scientists and engineers to ensure their pipelines are robust, scalable, and maintainable, ultimately helping researchers save time and push the boundaries of scientific innovation.
What You’ll Do :
- Develop and maintain new bioinformatics pipelines using Snakemake and / or Nextflow.
- Ensure backend systems follow software engineering best practices for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Optimize pipelines for scalability and troubleshoot complex bioinformatics workflows.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to align pipeline goals with experimental needs.
- Provide technical support and training on pipeline usage.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging bioinformatics tools and integrate them into workflows.
