As a Founding Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future while taking ownership of their core robotics product. You’ll lead the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge visual navigation systems for drones and autonomous aerial vehicles, ensuring their performance, scalability, and reliability. What You’ll Do :
- Lead the development and optimization of visual navigation systems for large fleets of drones.
- Design, test, and implement embedded software focused on vision-based robotics, ensuring solutions meet SWAP (Size, Weight, and Power) and performance requirements.
- Make key decisions on system architecture, balancing execution risk, lead time, and cost for scalable, reliable outcomes.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure hardware components meet performance standards.
- Oversee fleet management strategies, drive QA processes for large deployments, and proactively address issues in the field.
