A well-funded startup in the Chatsworth, CA area is growing its team and looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to help develop and implement robotic systems that are reshaping how parts for aerospace, defense, and automotive industries are made.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and implementing robotic software for motion planning, controls, and sensor integration
- Working with industrial robotic arms (Kuka, Fanuc, etc.) to build highly specialized automation systems
- Collaborating with teams across software, data, and ML to optimize robotic performance
- Contributing to some of the company’s most critical projects, including trajectory management
- Operating in a hands-on, fast-moving environment—this role is on-site in Chatsworth, CA
Who we’re looking for:
- 4 years of experience in robotics software engineering
- Strong proficiency in C , Python, and Rust
- Deep understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning
- Experience with industrial robots, sensor integration, and real-time software
- CS or related degree (Master’s or PhD preferred, but not required)
- Someone who thrives in a high-autonomy, high-ownership environment
