Sangre de Cristo Community Care is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. Sangre de Cristo Community Care is the Southern Colorado leader in enhancing the quality of life and maintaining the integrity of individuals and their families needing supportive or end-of-life services by offering symptom management, support, comfort, and compassion.

The Marketing and Account Specialist develops business partnerships generating referral growth by making influential sales contacts, calls, and presentations. Serves as the agency staff liaison with physicians, facilities, discharge planners, and community agencies. Responsible for the overall development and referral growth of the assigned territory. Additionally, evaluate, develop, and implement strategic marketing plans, working directly with the leadership team to heighten awareness that builds relationships with the community and increases agency growth. Serves as point person for both internal and external communications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent professional experience; and

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hospice or home health sales or a related industry with a proven record of achieving incremental growth in direct sales.

Professional and confident presence in presentations and when speaking to large groups.

Self-directed and possesses the ability to work with little supervision.

Must be proficient in the use of graphics software, as well as Microsoft programs for internal and external communications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and database tracking/reporting.

Must show Proof of a Tuberculin Skin Test (PPD), TB blood test, and/or CXR, or get one upon employment (An annual assessment for symptoms must be completed thereafter)

• Proof of immunizations for MMR (X 2 if born after 1957), D/T and Varicella is recommended, but not required
• It is a requirement for all Sangre employees to be vaccinated against Annual Influenza

Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of Colorado.

• Maintain insurance in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and maintain automobile in good working order
• Must meet minimum driver standards; driver’s license must have no physical restrictions other than corrective lenses; no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months and no major charges, such as reckless driving, driving while intoxicated/driving under the influence of drugs, in the last five (5) years.
