SUMMARY:
Fabricate and assemble fill needles to a finished product. Working with materials such as Stainless Steel, Plastics, Aluminum, Ferros, Brass and others meeting close tolerances on Lathe, Milling and Grinder working with English and Metric systems of measurements meeting tolerances /- 0.002” as close as /- 0.0005”. First shift - 7 am to 3:30 pm, Second shift - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop layout and plan for sequence of operation.
- Ability to read calipers, micrometrics, mechanical and electronic gauges.
- Set up and operate fabricating machines such as Hardinge Lathes, drill press, saws, milling machine, surface grinders, post grinder.
- Machine parts as per drawings per work order.
- Work produced has to be clean and accurate as per drawing on instructions.
- Record lot numbers per product/material.
- Verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
- Clean finished product with appropriate cleaned 70% Isopropanol agent as instructed. Use non-linting or clean room wipes during cleaning.
- Check the product against gauges as available.
- Produce manufacturing tools/gauges as required.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and tools.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong basic math skills. Must be able to use and read a variety of measurement devices with accuracy.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is frequently required to talk or listen. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
