Job Summary
The Fixed Assets Accountant position is accountable for recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.
Essential Job Functions

- Track, create and manage fixed assets.
- Maintain fixed assets by location and center.
- Calculate fixed asset depreciation and amortization.
- Maintain fixed Assets modules in Oracle Fusion and R-12.
- Manage and track Commercial Lease contracts.
- Tenant Improvement allowance tracking.
- Make sure all property rents are properly processed.
- Prepare property rental payment and deferral schedule.
- Maintain Lease Accounting Module.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Module.
- Monthly reconcile book to module reports differences.
- Equipment rental leases and renewal.
- Assist in keeping contracts and records.
- Assist in other projects as needed.
- Support with entity audit providing details and info required.
- Support with various taxes providing details and info required.
Qualifications
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Required Experience
- 3 years of fixed asset accounting experience.
Required Licenses and Certifications
- N/A
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Possess strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong knowledge and experience of fixed assets and General Ledger.
- Possess strong skills and experience with Word, Outlook, Excel and G-Suite. Familiarity with Oracle.
- Strong ability to apply several accounting and reporting systems.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to work in a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong ability to give attention to detail and to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's in accounting.
