POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for handling and storage of all staged raw, secondary, and packaging materials as required by the production staff. Also responsible for housekeeping of areas involved with the items listed above, picking up finished goods from Production, Secondary and CARE, as well as loading and unloading trucks.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Maintain supply of secondary and packaging materials to the press operators.
2.
Transfer of finished product from the press, and Secondary areas to Warehouse Staging, WIP as required.
3.
Proper storage and handling of all non-conforming and Work-In-Process materials.
4.
Loading and unloading of all trucks coming in to shipping/receiving.
5.
Organization and cleanliness of the corrugated packaging materials area.
6.
Organization and cleanliness of the returnable container and skid storage areas.
7.
Repair of damaged and defective returnable containers as required.
8.
Organization and cleanliness of all areas listed above
9.
Other assignments as designated by the Shift Supervisor.
SPECIFICATIONS:
1.
Requires commitment to continuous improvement in order to meet ever increasing demands for improved quality, cost, and delivery performance.
2.
The ability to communicate effectively with operators, other support staff and the Shift Supervisor.
3.
Must have a valid State issued driver’s license and be an approved driver in accordance with the company’s driving policy.
4.
Ability to obtain a fork lift license and to safely handle materials.
5.
Ability to handle stressful employee situations in an effective manner.
6.
Treat all employees in a consistent, fair, and respectful manner.
7.
Ability to excel in a team-based environment.
8.
1-2 years of experience working with TS16949, or similar quality system, or the ability to be trained in such systems
9.
Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness.
10.
High school diploma or minimum 2 to 3 years of manufacturing experience is required

No prior experience in material handling is necessary, but preferred. Training will be provided by the company.
1st shift 6:15am-2:45pm
2nd Shift 2:15pm-10:45pm
3rd shift 10:15pm-6:45am
