Job Summary:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our back-of-house team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist our chefs in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in the food and hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in basic food preparation and ingredient handling (washing, chopping, portioning)
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools in a timely manner
- Stock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service hours
- Remove garbage and clean kitchen equipment as required
Requirements:
- Kitchen experience
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Weekend availability preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
