Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide recommendations will enhance the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or similar systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems such as OpenTable or Aloha POS.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS or similar) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experiences.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a nightclub setting.
