Sr. Hardware Design Engineer
Sanmina Advanced Micro Technologies R&D group has an opening for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer in our Dallas (Carrollton) Texas location. In this role, you will be responsible for designing high-performance, high-data-rate optical data transceivers for the AI, high-speed computing, and datacom markets. State-of-the-art optical transceiver modules present design challenges for data rates, power density, thermal management, component and signal routing density.
We are looking for an innovative and energetic designer capable of delivering product solutions with on-time results with a minimal amount of supervision.
Responsibilities include :
- Lead the technical development with a multi-disciplinary team (electrical, PCB layout, mechanical, software, thermal, Signal Integrity, micro-electronic, and test engineering)
- PCB & Electrical design of electro-optical transceivers
PCB design, including circuit design, schematic capture, and guiding the PCB layout engineer
