Community Outreach and Screening Education Manager (CORE) - West Job title : Community Outreach and Screening Education Manager (CORE)Location : West - USAAbout the JobYou are motivated to make a difference in the lives of patients, families, and communities through the appropriate exchange of information about Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) disease state and the importance of early screening. Your educational efforts will provide community stakeholders across local screening ecosystems a better understanding of the disease, screening, and approaches to effectively identify and screen people at-risk.The Community Relations and Education Manager is a field-based member of the Patient Services team, reporting to Head of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) CORE, the Director of Community Relations & Regional Screening. T1D COREs are members of the Specialty Patient Services team and serve the Tzield business under General Medicines. The CORE team supports the patient-centric business model by providing disease and screening education to patients, families, communities, and health systems impacted by T1D, for which Sanofi provides a treatment option. The COREs establish strong working relationships with patients, community groups, and healthcare professionals in support of local access to and development of screening ecosystems within communities. The CORE works collaboratively in a team environment and is highly strategic in their approach with education and deployment of resources.The West region covers WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, NV, UT, CO, AZ, NMMain ResponsibilitiesLeads education and awareness efforts about disease state and screening, in concentrated geographic areas virtually and in-personShares education on risk and screening directly to patients, families, and community groupsExecutes screening events with patient groups, community groups, health systems, and officesEducates health systems, offices, and HCP groups about identifying ideal approaches and pathways to improve screening accessDelivers education to external stakeholders on screening infrastructure development and best practices for implementationEducates the screening implementation leads within accounts on identifying ideal approaches and pathways to improve access to screening for patientsWorks with external stakeholders and internal cross functional partners to identify local / regional screening barriers and develop action plans for resolutionCollaborates with local and regional patient advocacy groups to improve education about screening for their communitiesCoordinates with matrix team and other critical functions to share logistical information and relevant insights about shared accountsMeets documentation requirements in CRM system to facilitate tracking of critical metricsDelivers on key objectives established annuallyMust be able to travel extensively (50-70%)Ensures full compliance with all corporate and industry policies and legal and regulatory requirementsAbout YouBasic RequirementsBachelor’s degree requiredAdvanced degree, healthcare-related professional certification, or 4 years’ experience in diabetes requiredClinical practice and healthcare administration experience preferred2 years of pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry experience preferredStrong communication and presentation skills in English requiredBilingual (Spanish) preferredExperience in the following specialties preferred; Type 1 Diabetes, Endocrinology, AutoimmuneWhy Choose Us?Bring the miracles of science to life alongside a supportive, future-focused team.Discover endless opportunities to grow your talent and drive your career, whether it’s through a promotion or lateral move, at home or internationally.Enjoy a thoughtful, well-crafted rewards package that recognizes your contribution and amplifies your impact.Take good care of yourself and your family, with a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits including high-quality healthcare, prevention and wellness programs and at least 14 weeks’ gender-neutral parental leave.The salary range for this position is $100,500.00 - $134,000.00 USD Annual. In addition to sales incentive (role may my eligible for long term incentive depending on level and performance); all compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
