Main Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve Sanofi’s enterprise data model, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and alignment with business needs.
- Partner with domain-specific teams to meet cross-functional and analytical requirements.
- Advocate for Data Mesh principles, fostering understanding and organizational buy-in across technical and business teams.
- Design and implement efficient data-sharing patterns to streamline data exchange with minimal dependencies.
- Establish and promote frameworks for data access, stewardship, and governance to enhance transparency and accountability.
- Stay ahead of advancements in data architecture, identifying opportunities to improve Sanofi’s data capabilities.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in data architecture practices.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing scalable data architectures, especially in enterprise environments.
- Strong background in data modeling, taxonomy, and interoperability principles.
- Hands-on experience with Data and AI tools, including data engineering, master data management, data lakes, data warehouses, data visualization, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques and schema design.
- Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Informatica), API management, and data exchange protocols (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
- Knowledge of governance platforms, data quality, lineage tools, and stewardship frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Data Mesh principles and decentralized data architecture frameworks.
- Working knowledge of agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
