Within Sanofi R&D, the Health Value Translation (HVT) team’s overarching objective is to integrate patient insights into R&D strategy, ensuring patient voices are understood and translated to support patient-centric development. The HVT team works with the key stakeholders across the organization to support clinical development, operational strategies and project decision-making that is aligned with our corporate and therapeutic area strategies.
We leverage patient engagement activities and patient experience data (PED) for program design, clinical study management and clinical outcomes. We advance the use of patient-centric digital and data tools. Our activities span across all therapeutic areas with a focus on building disease area patient strategies (PDS) and integrated patient journeys (IPJ) in support of portfolio prioritization and clinical trials design optimization (First in Human to Phase 3). Our activities contribute to regulatory, benefit/risk and payer’s dossier submissions.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop patient-informed Target Value Propositions (TVP) with medical and market access representatives.
- In collaboration with all relevant functions (eg: medical, regulatory, Centers of Excellence, behavioral science experts, etc.), develop the holistic Patient Disease Strategies (PDS) by indication, a critical deliverable that includes an in-depth analysis of PED, identification of patient-informed evidentiary gaps, and an evidence generation plan (eg: patient surveys, panels, patient preference studies, etc.) to support our product's differentiation. PDS includes sections related to the clinical outcomes and recruitment/retention strategies.
- Present the PDS to the Global Project Teams for validation and prioritization of the action plan.
- Lead development of the Integrated Patient Journey (IPJ), a multifunction activity with contributions from clinical development, medical, market access, new project planning, corporate affairs, etc. to inform decision making of all governance bodies.

- Experience in Real World investigations is a plus.
- Understanding of payers’ environment is a plus.
- Medical, PharmD or PhD in Biology, Chemistry or similar
- 5 years Pharma experience.
