The Global Publications Governance & Systems team aims to provide a single global process and platform to support Sanofi-wide Publications (journals, abstracts, posters, presentations, etc.) efforts, including creation, review, approval, documentation & metrics
The Lead, Publication Systems & Governance is responsible for helping maintain global publication SOPs, providing support and guidance on corporate publication processes and industry best practices, and providing business support for company-wide publication management systems. This position will report to the Global Head, Scientific Publications and External Data Sharing.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to GBUs and R&D regarding publication processes and best practices
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the publication management systems including iEnvision configuration projects, UAT testing, document templates, and system integrations
- Maintain and enforcing global publication SOPs
- Review of company-wide publications during “Final Sign Off”
- Assist with development and reporting of publication metrics and KPIs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience and demonstrated skill in the analysis, communication, and presentation of complex informaiton
- Knowledge of industry guidelines / best practices pertaining to publications and transfer of value
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously
- Rigorous, flexible and solution oriented
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, influencing, problem solving, and relationship building skills
- Equally effective working independently or as a leader or as part of a cross-functional team
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree in the life sciences (e.g., Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D.) preferred
- 7 years previous experience working within a pharmaceutical, biotech, scientific communications, or healthcare organization in publications, Medical Affairs and transfer of value space.
- 5 years of publications management or related experience at global or regional level
- Experience with Microsoft suite of tools, Medical Affairs/publication systems including iEnvision,.
