USA - Cost Analyst II (Professional) (contract)

Job Summary

Join Sanofi's contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, as a Cost Analyst for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for performing standard to slightly complex cost accounting duties, maintaining cost accounting processes and systems, producing cost accounting reports, preparing journal entries, and participating in the annual budgeting process. Working independently under general supervision, you will play a critical role in supporting the site controller with corporate accounting projects and ad hoc queries.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard to slightly complex cost accounting duties
• Maintain cost accounting processes and systems
• Produce standard cost accounting reports (e.g., depreciation, labor, equipment reports)
• Prepare standard journal entries
• Assist operations management in the annual budgeting process
• Support site controller with corporate accounting projects and ad hoc queries
• Close and report activities for both US and Consolidated P&L on a monthly basis
• Plan and organize financial activities within the sites
• Make proactive recommendations on business and financial improvement
• Support ad hoc initiatives, projects, assignments
• Maintain working relationships with site, regional, and global finance personnel
  
  
  

Skills

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently under general supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related field required
• 3 - 5 years of industrial accounting, costing, and SAP experience
