Job Title: IT Systems Specialist
Position Type: Full-time (40 hrs/wk) Non-Exempt (hourly)
Reports To: IT Manager Location: Vancouver, WA
Workdays: Monday – Friday (on-site)
Work Hours: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (8 hours per day – Flexible)
Position Summary
This newly created position is designed to bring IT operations in-house, enhancing our technological capabilities and support. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, which includes, but is not limited to, workstations, handheld devices, printers, firewalls, switches, software, and Wi-Fi access points. Your role will also involve providing friendly, user-centric technical support and ensuring the security of our users, company, and IT systems.
Sanozen is a small, single-location business specializing in manufacturing. The responsibilities of this position are primarily at Sanozen, with the addition of a cross-support and collaboration structure with our parent company. This structure provides flexibility for the position for support during projects and times of high demand, as well as coverage during vacations.

- Infrastructure Support:
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including workstations, handheld devices, printers, firewalls, switches, software, and Wi-Fi access points
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and technical issues promptly
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of IT systems
- Manage system, software, and hardware upgrades and updates
- Manage user access, including adding and removing users and accounts from various cloud systems
- Manage the Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure including Intune device management
- Technical Support:
- Provide user-centric technical support to employees, ensuring a positive and efficient experience
- Document support requests and resolutions for future reference.
- Security:
- Monitor for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
- Conduct regular security assessments and updates
- Provide end-user security training and assessments
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the parent company to provide cross-support, improvements, and collaboration
- Offer coverage during vacations and other absences to ensure continuous support.
- Adheres to other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Preferences - Associate degree or above (Information Technology field preferred), or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of IT networking experience
- 2 years of experience maintaining or working with a Microsoft 365 environment
- 1 years of experience working with Microsoft Intune, preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , CCNA) are advantageous.
- Proficient in PowerShell
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and on a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
