Sanozen Inc. has an immediate open full-time Maintenance Technician/ Mechanic position. This position will primarily work on production equipment and machines. This is not a building maintenance position or a desk job. We are looking for someone to work on production and packaging equipment/machines in a manufacturing plant environment at an intermediate level. It can be a physical position with some heavy lifting, squatting/bending and occasionally working in tight work environment with a couple machines. Must be able to manually turn hand wheel to rollover the machine(s) as needed.
Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance on the facility’s machines/equipment and make necessary repairs as needed. This position works Tuesday thru Friday, 10-hour day shifts from 6:00am to 4:30pm once trained. The training schedule will be M-Th from 6:00am to 4:30pm for a couple of months.

Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Core Values
- Maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and repair production machinery and equipment for the entire facility.
- Able to fabricate, install, and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment
- Maintain all required logs and documentation.
- Work closely with production staff especially during the training period to learn about the machines/equipment.
- Strong communication within production and related departments.
- Perform PM per schedule and record properly.
- Perform building space improvements, as needed.
- Determine parts requirements and work with accounting department to order as needed.
- Must be able to manually turn hand wheel to rollover the machine.
- All other tasks assigned by Production Supervisor

Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate recommended
- 3-5 years’ experience in skilled trades preferred
- 3-5 Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience working in manufacturing/production
- Dietary Supplement or Food industry preferred but not required
- Hands on experience in maintenance issues with machines/equipment
- Some experience working with packaging equipment is helpful
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be competent, accurate, and efficient maintaining/repairing machines/equipment
- Able to trouble shoot when machines are not running at capacity
- Dependable with great attendance/punctuality
- Uncompromised integrity and ethics
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Squat/bend to be able to work on machines
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to stand all shift and keep up in fast paced environment.
Work Environment:
- Dusty environment
- May be required to wear protective gear, i.e. dust masks, gloves, etc.
- May be subjected to noise from warehouse equipment
- Must be able to work around ingredients or finished products known to contain food allergens.
Compensation: Wage depends on experience and education

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. Working conditions are normal for a plant environment (production/warehouse). This environment may include: standing, sitting, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in required personal protective equipment (including hearing protection). Occasionally subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors, powders, dust and other particles. The position may require flexible hours with the occasional weekend and evening work as needed by the company.
Salary : $28 - $32
