What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tasting Room Associate position at Sans Liege Wines?
Sans Liege Wines is looking for a passionate, hospitality-driven individual to join our Paso Robles Tasting Room team 5 days a week. If you love wine, enjoy creating memorable experiences, and have a knack for guiding guests toward wines they’ll love, we want to hear from you.
This role is more than just pouring wine—it’s about connecting guests to the story behind every bottle and making them feel like part of the Sans Liege journey. You’ll also take ownership of the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the tasting room running smoothly, from maintaining a pristine space to restocking and handling transactions.
We’re looking for someone outgoing, hardworking, and self-sufficient, as you’ll often be working solo.
What You’ll Do
- Host engaging wine tastings and create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel connected to the wines and the stories behind them.
- Drive wine sales & grow the Wine Club—help guests discover wines they love and inspire them to take some home.
- Manage daily operations—open & close the tasting room, host tastings, process transactions and more
- Keep the space looking top-notch—clean tables, glassware, restrooms, and tasting areas.
- Stay connected with guests—send follow-ups, thank-you notes, and build lasting relationships.
- Be a team player—support the Direct to Consumer & Wine Club Managers with additional projects as needed.

Requirements
- 21 years old
- Tasting room or wine sales experience preferred
- POS & cash-handling experience (familiarity with WineDirect/Commerce7 is a plus)
- Weekend/holiday availability (this is a must!)
- Ability to repeatedly lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- G Suite proficiency
A passion for wine—knowledge of Rhône varietals or Central Coast wines is a plus!
