Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer (ESWE) with 6 8 years of expertise in automotive lighting product development. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of ASPICE processes, CAN-FD/LIN communication protocols, and embedded software and hardware integration testing. The role requires close collaboration with OEM customers, offshore teams, and production engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on embedded software development in various lighting product domains.
- Analyze OEM customer requirements and create ASPICE-compliant System Engineering work products:
- System Requirement Analysis (SYS2)
- System Architecture Design (SYS3)
- System Integration & Test Plan (SYS4, SYS5)
- Review Software ASPICE work products:
- Software Requirement Analysis
- Software Architectural Design
- Software Detail Design
- Software Integration and Qualification Test Reports
- Collaborate with hardware engineers during PCBA board bring-up activities.
- Develop test scripts using Babylin CAN-FD/LIN and Vector CANoe CAPL for lamp functionality.
- Develop test applications for verifying functionalities such as animations, voltage/temperature derating, LED binning, and fault detection.
- Lead offshore team deliverables including planning, quality, and schedule.
- Interact daily with OEM customers to capture and clarify scope and requirements.
- Participate in client meetings for gathering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create functional documentation and provide technical support to the OEM software team.
- Ensure compliance with ISO26262 Functional Safety standards throughout development phases.
- Perform risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution.
- Conduct hardware-software integration testing and maintain test results.
- Assist production control engineers in solving lamp production line issues.
