Job Overview
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking an experienced Systems Architect to support cloud modernization, infrastructure, and application development initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position in Tallahassee, FL, with no remote work option.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, Microsoft Azure, enterprise system design, and IT infrastructure. This role requires a highly skilled professional to oversee, manage, and optimize FDOT s cloud services, identity platforms, and system applications.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Design, upgrade, and administer FDOT s cloud and virtual desktop infrastructure.
Application & Data Modernization: Assist in cloud migration efforts for applications, infrastructure, and data.
Identity & Access Management: Oversee multi-cloud environments, identity platforms, and Microsoft 365.
DevOps & Automation: Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps, build pipelines, and automate key processes.
System Monitoring & Performance: Improve monitoring solutions to prioritize system uptime and security.
Technical Leadership: Provide architecture guidance and recommendations based on risk, cost, and business impact.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, with potential after-hours and weekend support.

Relocation Requirement: This role requires residence in or relocation to Tallahassee, FL.
