Sansone Group, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in St. Louis, Missouri, is searching for a Financial Analyst with excellent strategic and analytical skills to join our Development, Acquisition & Asset Management team. This integral position will work closely with senior executives to analyze new and existing commercial real estate investments and development opportunities, contributing directly to high-value transactions.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Develop and maintain financial models, projections, and investment analyses for acquisitions, developments and existing assets, including DCF, IRR, and NPV modeling.
- Conduct market research, track economic trends, and engage with investment brokers to obtain comparable lease and sales data.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memorandums, development proposals, and offer letters.
- Perform budget-to-actual analysis for the existing portfolio and assist with underwriting for recapitalizations, refinancing, and dispositions.
- Support due diligence and closing processes for acquisitions and dispositions.
- Prepare lending packages and investor presentations for capital markets transactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate finance, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, DCF, IRR, and NPV analysis).
- Experience with Argus, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take initiative.
