  • Position : Clinical Nurse Specialist (This position is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the NICU)
  • Facility / Unit : Cottage Hospital, NICU
  • Patient Age Group : Neonates
  • Staffing Ratio : 1 : 2
  • Shift : 5x8, 0800-1630
  • Unit Systems : Omnicell, SBAR
  • Electronic Documentation : EPIC

    • Job Requirements

  • 3 YR EXP - Clinical Nurse Specialist 1ST TIMER OK
  • Be a R.N. licensed by the State of California holding a master’s and / or doctoral degree in nursing.
  • The CNS shall be licensed by the State Board of Registered Nursing as a CNS.
  • Have at least three years’ full-time of clinical experience in neonatal nursing in a NICU.
  • Have current certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing from a nationally accredited organization.
  • Have evidence of current instructor status by the NRP of the AAP and the AHA.
  • Previous Charge Experience.
  • Will be expected to understand NICU quality metrics.

  • Shift : 5x8, 0800-1630

    • Additional Details

  • Background Check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived / worked / in school for past 7 years and updated annually.
  • Required for Aya.
