What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher - Head Start/State Preschool position at Santa Clara County Office Of Education?
The Substitute Teacher - Head Start/State Preschool, under the direct supervision of the Supervisor— Head Start Preschool Sites, teaches young children in a Head Start or State Preschool site which provides services to low income and/ or single parent families. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a Child Development Teacher Permit; or Site Director Permit or Program Director Permit.

Experience: Two or more years of experience with preschool aged children, nine (9) months to six (6) years of age preferred.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Child Development Teacher Permit or higher
• Must possess current CPR and first aid certifications.
• An offer of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-placement medical examination (covered by SCCOE)
