***THIS ROLE IS LOCATED AT THE NEWHALL CLUBHOUSE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB (James Ventress Clubhouse)***We are looking for energetic charismatic people who have a deep passion for working with children and teenagers, who want to make a difference in their community and have a positive impact on the future. Under the supervision of the Branch Manager an Site Director, the Youth Development Professional assists in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and delivery of recreation programming at the Club. Experience should cover a wide variety of youth development programs. The Youth Development Professional will develop meaningful relationships with youth in an after school and summer program setting. Youth at the Club are 5-17 years old.
All candidates that are selected will have to undergo a background check, pre-employment drug screening and TB test.
Schedule: Must be available five days per week typically Monday- Friday 1:30pm - 7:00pm and Friday 11:30am-7pm
Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18/hour

Requirements
High School Diploma required, some college preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Able to lift 20 pounds, kneeling & bending required.
Minimum of one year working with children.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to engage with children
