What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Technology Manager position at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk?
Under direction, responsible for supervising, training, scheduling, and coordinating the work of Revenue Systems working group in Technical Services. Responsible for all Point of Sales (POS), Online Sales, and Integrated Financial systems. Be the subject matter expert on Company’s current and future Revenue Systems. Works closely with the IT Manager in maintaining infrastructure critical for Revenue Systems uptime. May serve on company wide committees and task forces and coordinate inter department meetings regarding the systems supported. May serve as the manager in charge when the Director is not available.

Job Tasks
- Train, coordinate and manage the revenue systems team, ensuring knowledge redundancy and shared expertise.

Support Accounting staff in system configuration and architecture to align with company goals.
Provide input into department guidelines and policies and implement short and long term goals and objectives. - Research and make recommendations for new technologies to benefit the company for technical, revenue, point of sale, and related system improvements.
- Support all POS user groups with use and best practice training.

Oversee and coordinate, troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and repairing a variety of systems, and equipment including: (POS), and related systems.
Create, monitor and maintain position of the company’s PCI compliance. - Establish performance goals and conduct ongoing reviews and guidance.
- First point of contact for direct reports.
- Coordinate with other Managers in the department for cross training, projects and tasks.
- Work with managers in hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Maintain system performance records and log troubleshooting tips.
- Establish Preventative maintenance routines for POS and Revenue system hardware.
- Manage patches and software, keeping POS systems up to date.
- Create and maintain documentation for Revenue Systems best practices.
- Direct work of subcontractors for various projects.
- Manage the research and purchases of needed equipment.
- Serve on inter department task forces and committees.
- May perform tasks for other managerial roles within the department when necessary.
- Maintain positive working relationships with outside vendors and employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Training and Experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or at least 5 years of experience managing revenue systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following technical fields: Point of Sales administration, accounting, database systems. Must have a strong understanding of basic and intermediate accounting principals.
- Must demonstrate propensity for continued training, learning and growth in various Revenue Systems as well as other relevant IT systems.
- Experience in managing large scale, multi departmental technology projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Expert on company Revenue collection systems and how they impact company accounting.
- Knowledge of the principles project planning, disaster recovery, system organization and management.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision and training.
- Ability to supervise, train, evaluate and motivate staff.
- Ability to keep abreast of changes in technology for point of sale systems, accounting data systems, any related systems and recommend those that would benefit the company.
- Ability to champion teamwork, coordinate and facilitate work within the team and between departments.

Physical Requirements

Licenses / Insurance
Valid U.S. Driver's License.
Maintain automobile liability coverage with a minimum of $50,000/$100,000 per occurrence during employment.
