Role and Responsibilities:
The Wholesale Accounting Manager reports directly to the Controller and assists the accounting team in implementing an accelerated month-end close for our Wholesale Division and producing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with general accepted accounting principles. The Accounting Manager is a strong accounting professional with strong technical accounting skills and a mindset to digitize existing month-end close processes.
- A key leader in the monthly general ledger closing of our Wholesale Division with a focus on mark-to-market accounting , derivatives, and hedges(ASC 815) as well as “below the line” accounts and respective balance sheet accounts.
• Working with various products including swaps, forwards and futures
- Reviewer/preparer of key account balance sheet reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide technical accounting support for complex core accounting areas and periodic updates of the existing accounting policies.
- Work with a diverse and talented accounting team with an eye towards digitization and removing non-value added tasks.
- Assist with the development of detailed accounting controls, policies and procedures.
- Analyze and review financial information for accuracy.
- Serve as a key point of contact to other functional areas on core accounting matters.
- Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the Wholesale Division financial statements.
- Assists external auditors with periodic auditing of the organization's financial records and statements.
- Assist with various special projects, tasks and processes.
• Assisting with researching internal differences between the accounting and trade entry systems
Other Responsibilities
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging accounting guidance to proactively identify opportunities to enhance current procedures and comply with updated standards.
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and have a CPA license.
- Ideally, you have worked in public aaccounting.
- You are a valuable contributor to the team's overall success.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
