The Cat, Santa Fe’s premier resale store, is looking to fill a part-time sales associate position. Individual must maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism to customers at all times. Have an understanding of pricing in terms of the current market value of items in the store and knowledge of trends and styles- ie. vintage vs. old, as well as, have extensive knowledge of brands in regards to quality, designer, price, location. Individual must be capable to help carry up to 50 pounds, be self-motivated, have a team player attitude, stand for long periods at a time, and must love animals. A valid NM driver's license is required. Retail experience preferred. No phone calls, please. Starts at $15 with benefits. The Cat is owned and operated by the Santa Fe Animal Shelter.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their purchases and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are well-organized.
- Price items according to store guidelines and assist with merchandising displays.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to enhance store operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures while maintaining a clean store environment.
