Full-Time Occupational Therapist and PRN Occupational Therapists
- NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!! New graduates are welcome. Must be able to complete point of service documentation and provide group and concurrent therapy as scheduled. Must be flexible throughout the day for changes that occur. Weekday and Weekend hours available. Schedule is flexible. In-House Therapy department.
The duties and responsibilities of Occupational therapist may include:
- Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms
- Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment plan
- Teaching patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques
- Providing stimulation, exercise programs to promote healing
- Restoring patient’s function, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities
- Supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistant(s)
- Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results
- Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients
- Advising patients on exercise techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to complete point of service documentation
- Provide group and concurrent therapy as scheduled

Qualifications:
- SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico or proof of license and eligibility. 2. Must have appropriate Doctorate degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy; or 3. The qualifying Occupational Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Occupational Therapy and have or be eligible for Occupational Therapy licensure in New Mexico.
