French Teacher - part-time

Santa Fe Christian Schools is looking for a part-time, experienced High School French Teacher to join our team for the 25/26 school year. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a curriculum and lesson plans that will foster knowledge and skills essential to teaching students in the High School grades Create hands-on, inquiry-based, project-based lessons that build excitement for the French language Demonstrate concepts using models, technology, and other standard or teacher-prepared instructional aids Evaluate each student’s progress in their knowledge and skills of the French language Communicate with parents to discuss the individual student’s progress Spiritual Requirements: Model a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ Demonstrate biblical maturity and serve as a Christian role model Maintains active participation in an evangelical church Professional Requirements: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in French (or a related field) Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the High School level Native or near-native French proficiency and a strong background in second language acquisition Interest in contributing to the school community outside of the classroom as an athletic coach, student advisor, student club leader, or otherwise preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Three letters of recommendation

Salary : $28 - $48
