What are the responsibilities and job description for the PAS Field Supervisor position at Santa Fe Home Health Care Inc.?
Scope of Position:
Performs admission of client: PAS, CAS, FC. Transfer and Retro Cases.
Maintain communications per telephone call 2067 with DADS and StarPlus HMO companies.
Hiring of attendants, process hire paperwork.
Employee must travel to different areas(such as Beeville, Alice, Hebbronville, Kingsville, Corpus Christi, Falfurrias, San Diego, etc.)
Assists in recruiting, screening and orienting attendant for employment in the programs.
Assembles and maintains client records, making sure forms are complete, updated and filed completely and securely.
Completes and processes appropriate forms and paperwork within specified timeframes as required by DADS, StarPlus (HMO) and agency,
Enters client data into the computer program and keeps data current.
Monitors that all approved services are rendered to clients and are properly documented.
Maintains attendant work schedules and makes changes and assignments as necessary to ensure continuous services to clients.
Maintain currency with PAS manual and any updates.
Maintain documentation on supervisory visits.
Document client status on communication report/bulletin.
Monitor EVV for attendance.
Reports, investigates, documents findings and outcome of complaints.
Attend staffing with client as scheduled by case managers from DADS and case coordinators from StarPlus (HMO).
Minimal Qualifications:
1. Highs School graduate or GED.
2. Training and/or experience in general office procedures.
3. Training and/or experience in operation of standard office equipment.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
5. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
6. Ability to type 45-60 words a minute.
7. Computer experience is preferred.
8. Attendance requirements 8:00 to 5:00 generally, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary slightly depending on the number of admissions or attendant hires. Extended hours may be necessary throughout the month.
9. Knowledge of Medicaid and HMO insurance preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
