DIRECTOR, MEN’S SERVICES
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Clinical Director (CD) the Director of the Men’s Program will be responsible for the operational success of the Santa Fe Recovery Center’s overall programs and programmatic strategy serving men in Santa Fe and throughout the state and region. The Director will ensure seamless team management and development, program delivery, and quality control and evaluation. In this newly established role, the Director will manage a growing staff and increased impact of services and Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs).

Counselors, Case Managers, Peer Support Workers, Program Coordinator-Bridge House, Med Tech Supervisors, Office Assistant
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership:
- Cultivate existing relationships with grantors with the goal of ensuring service quality, programmatic sustainability, and service expansion.
- Develop and implement strategies that will maximize the impact of services on the lives of clients and within the communities the Center serves.
Team Management and Development:
- Develop and implement a system to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of all staff.
- Implement a professional development program to address employee experience and skill gaps.
- Work with staff to develop objective performance measurements in alignment with the Center’s overall strategic aims and values across all sites, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all team members.
- Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of individual and organization performance standards.
Program Operational Management:
- In coordination with organizational leadership, establish and implement consistent, objective program performance standards of accountability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Specific requirements include:
- Minimum of a BA/BS required. Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
- At least 10 years of progressive experience with at least three of those in a team management role
- Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programs
- Demonstrated success in growing program size and scope
- Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems
- Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
- Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group
- Strength in hiring, recruiting, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility, span-of-control and performance
- Deep understanding of and demonstrated leadership in staff engagement strategies, employee performance improvement plans, and corrective action policies
- Demonstrated results in managing through complex systems and proven experience negotiating win-win agreements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for the Center’s mission
- In the case of a recovering alcoholic/addict, he/she must have successfully maintained a two (2) year period of uninterrupted abstinence from alcohol and/or drugs.
- Must be computer literate in order to effectively meet requirements for use of Electronic Health Record systems and other electronic platforms.
- Must have and maintain a current, valid NM Driver’s License. Must have and maintain a clean driving record, as well as auto insurance.
- Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural preferred (English/Spanish).
