Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction:
- Lead group or individual ACT prep classes, specifically focused on English, Reading, and Math.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to effectively communicate content and engage students, ensuring that lessons cater to different learning styles.
- Provide a thorough explanation of test-taking strategies, time management skills, and methods for tackling challenging questions on the ACT.
- Curriculum Development:
- Develop lesson plans, materials, and practice tests based on the most up-to-date ACT exam content.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their performance.
- Customize instruction based on students' strengths and areas for improvement, helping them develop confidence and test-taking skills.
- Student Assessment:
- Conduct periodic assessments and quizzes to track student progress and identify areas requiring additional attention.
- Offer tailored guidance and recommendations to students based on their performance.
- Motivation & Support:
- Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment that fosters motivation and confidence.
- Assist students in building academic endurance through guided practice

- Communication:
- Maintain clear and open communication with students, parents, and administrators regarding student progress and any concerns.

- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on changes to the ACT exam format and content.
- Continuously refine teaching strategies and materials to improve student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the ACT exam structure, content, and test-taking strategies.
- Previous experience teaching ACT prep courses or tutoring students for standardized tests is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Patient, organized, and detail-oriented with a passion for helping students succeed.
