About the Employer

Welcome to the Santa Maria-Bonita School District website. We are the largest school district in Santa Barbara County with about 17,500 pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students. In the heart of the coastal agricultural area, we celebrate our families and the support they provide to the students of the District. The District is comprised of seventeen elementary schools, four junior high schools, and one combined elementary and junior high. Requirements / Qualifications

CA. Single Subject Credential in English or Multiple Subject Credential; EL Authorization / CLAD.

Five (5) years of contracted teaching experience.

• Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts required upon hire)
• Credential Copy (CA. Single Subject in English, or Multiple Subject with Authorizations in English, including EL Authorization (CLAD or BCLAD))
• Letter of Introduction (Addressed to Pete Bland, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters of recommendation, DATED WITHIN 1 YEAR.)
• Resume
