Key Responsibilities:
· Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities with multi-unit restaurant operators and GPOs.
o Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue and market share in the foodservice, multi-unit operators, and grocery sectors.
o Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
· Contract Management:
o Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and execution of contracts with GPOs and multi-unit customers.
o Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and company policies.
o Monitor contract performance, resolving issues and renegotiating terms as needed to maintain client satisfaction.
· Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at GPOs and multi-unit restaurant organizations.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and escalations.
o Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion.
· Collaboration & Coordination:
o Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations, procurement) to align contract terms with operational capabilities.
o Provide insights to marketing teams for targeted campaigns aimed at multi-unit operators.
o Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure consistent delivery of products under contract terms.
· Reporting & Analysis:
o Track and report on business development activities, contract performance, and revenue growth metrics.
o Analyze client data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services/products.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or contract management within the food service or distribution industry.
· Proven track record of managing large-scale contracts with multi-unit restaurant operators.
· Strong negotiation skills with the ability to structure complex agreements that meet both client needs and company objectives.
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
· Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
