Responsibilities :
Lead and manage all aspects of JV Swimming, including practice planning, strategy, and athlete development.
Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and a positive team culture.
Attend and coach all meets, practices, and team events.
Collaborate with other coaching staff to align team goals and strategies.
Monitor and maintain the academic eligibility and welfare of student-athletes.
Maintain open communication with parents, school administration, and athletic department staff.
Ensure safety protocols are followed, and equipment is properly maintained.
Assist in the recruitment and retention of athletes for the program.
Enforce team rules, school policies, and district guidelines regarding behavior and conduct.
Qualifications :
Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level, preferably in swimming.
Knowledge of swimming techniques, strategies, and training methods.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
Ability to work well with parents, school staff, and the athletic community.
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to pass background checks and adhere to district policies.
