Santa Rita Landscaping provides custom design and installation services for residential customers ranging from planting and irrigation to hardscape and masonry features. Santa Rita Landscaping takes care of its employees, customers and community partners while delivering exceptional service and enhancing their outdoor living spaces.
We are looking for a talented Design Consultant to join our team. In this role you will use your vision and understanding of design principles to help create your client’s outdoor living space while also using your sales experience to mine leads, win projects and create a referral network in Tucson.
This might be the position for you if:
- You are fearless in taking the lead to develop your own customer network (with our support of course) and don’t expect future customers to be given to you.
- You have an eye and talent for design – ideally in the landscape industry or adjacent industry like home remodeling.
- You have a proven track record with direct to customer sales and the detailed follow up needed to bring those opportunities to close.
- You have a passion for executing the plan to the customers expectations
- You have the time management discipline and detailed nature to handoff comprehensive notes to our landscape designers and estimator to achieve our metric of getting a proposal to our customers within 21 days.
- You appreciate working in a defined process while enjoying the flexibility of identifying new paths for collaboration both internally and externally to grow the department successfully.
Qualifications:
- Passion for SELLING in a Business to Consumer environment
- Demonstrated success in creating your own opportunities and maintain the balance to both close work and add to your lead flow
- Experience selling in an environment where customers are not coming to you
- Strong customer service skills
- Possess general landscape and hardscape design knowledge preferred, some design knowledge required
- Sense of Urgency in follow up with customers
Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years sales experience
- Excellent communication and supervision skills
- Computer literate and have experience using a CRM, design software, and efficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Landscape knowledge preferrable
