What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist Pool 25-26 School Year position at Santa Rita Union School District?
Under the supervision of the Director of Special Education and Student Services, the Occupational Therapist administers occupational therapy assessments to determine a student's level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in areas such as fine/gross motor skill development, sensory-motor integration, self-care, and the activities of daily living. The Occupational Therapist serves as a member of an integrative team to provide assessment, services and direct treatment to students with disabling conditions, and provides consultation to educators and parents. The Santa Rita Union School District (SRUSD), located in the heart of the Salinas Valley of Monterey County, and is comprised of approximately 3600 students from Pre-School through Eighth Grade. We are located in the heart of "Steinbeck Country" a region best known for its exceptional air quality and mild central coast climate and the hometown of Nobel Prize winning recipient, John Steinbeck.
